My Teaching Style
I do understand that not everyone loves Maths and Economics...
My aim is to maximise each student's potential, whatever that may look like. I always take the time to learn more about a student's experience of the subject they are receiving tuition for and what their hobbies, likes and dislikes are. This helps guide my approach and allows me to make practical links to topics that are relatable and understandable.
Sessions are completely bespoke to every student and are incredibly adaptive. Sessions involve tasks that will be most beneficial to each student and include:
Reviewing individual topics
Applying knowledge to practice and past-paper questions
Discussing links between content and the 'real world'
Finding work and revision techniques.
If desired, mini homework tasks can be set and marked between sessions to help with consolidation.

My Experience
Whilst the schools I have taught in are academically incredibly high-achieving, the students I have taught and tutored have had a wide variety of abilities and learning needs.
Students I have worked with include:
Those resitting an exam to pass
Those resitting an exam to boost their grade in order to enable them a wider choice of University courses
Those who felt completely lost in the subject they were studying
Those returning to a subject (that they didn't enjoy) for an in-work qualification
Those aiming for and achieving A* and 9 grades
Those receiving Oxbridge offers.
Additional learning needs and diagnoses that I am experienced with include:
Spinal Muscular Atrophy
Autistic Spectrum Disorder
Dyslexia
ADHD
Disordered eating
OCD
Slow processing
